5:18, for Emelie

Emelie wanted two rosy maple moths in a piece similar to one I had done for our beloved mutual friend, Ivan, back in April (see: Atlas Moth). We both worked together on this piece for quite a time to obtain the absolute perfect materials, as well as to get it exactly how she wanted design wise. Once we fine tuned the placement of the greenery, exposure of the gorgeous original clock face and of course, the precious bug pairing the piece was truly breath-taking with how delicate and striking all elements were, in union.

Emelie was so kind and considerate throughout this whole process and I truly love this piece as one of my favorites! My fondest thank you to Emelie.
